Familiar scents are inherently calming to dogs, as they naturally associate familiarity with safety. As their beloved owner, your scent is the most familiar and safest smell of them all!

Not only do they see you as their trusted pack leader, your smell is going to remind them of positive experiences like playtime, cuddles and walks. This positive association can calm them down in stressful situations, or if they’re simply feeling a little anxious.

DogDoov harnesses your dog’s sense of smell to create a calming space where they feel safe and secure. While all dogs are going to find their owner’s smell comforting, this can be especially reassuring for nervous dogs or dogs that suffer from separation anxiety.

• Wash by hand or machine in cold water – Do not use bleach!
• Air dry your DogDoov cover, when possible, as tumble drying can potentially cause shrinkage.
• If you have to tumble dry cover, please use a very low heat.
• If necessary, you can iron the cover with a warm (not hot!) iron.

Our beds come with an external cover and an internal net, which is designed to be filled with old linen and clothes to create a comfortable, comforting space that smells of you.

We recommend that you fill the internal net in two parts, with an initial layer of old bedding (Duvets, pillows, blankets, etc) for maximum padding and a top layer of old clothing to give your dog plenty of your reassuring scent. Soft cotton and woollen fabrics work particularly well.

To maintain the bed’s fluffiness and anti-anxiety scent properties, we recommend you regularly change out the filling.

Yes, all DogDoov products come with a 12 month warranty that covers any and all manufacturing faults.

Everyday use of the dog bed will naturally cause wear and tear, which will differ depending on the size and behaviour of your dog. Please therefore note that our 12 month warranty does not cover:

• Deterioration in line with expected use
• Damage caused by chewing, clawing or fouling
• Fading caused by multiple washes

If you have ordered a DogDoov by mistake or wish to return an unopened item, a refund for the purchase price will be issued along with the original delivery charge.

Our return policy is as follows:

• Items must be returned within 14 calendar days from the date you received it.
• Items must be in their original packaging, unused and in re-sellable condition. Items judged not to be in this condition may be subject to a restocking fee of £6.00.
• You must provide proof of purchase, either in the form of verifiable information we can check against our records or an electronic order confirmation.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you of the status of the return process. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). Please note that any refunds will take between 5-10 business days.

If you wish for DogDoov to arrange a collection, we will refund the purchase price and original delivery cost, but will deduct an amount to cover the cost of shipping:

• Products weighing a total of less than 10kg - £5.00
• Products weighing a total of between 10kg and 25kg - £10.00

In all cases your first action is to email us at [email protected] explaining the issue (with pictures attached if appropriate). We will then advise the best course of action and inform you of the return address as necessary.
